Welcome to Kansas Adult Education Association’s 2021 first ever VIRTUAL conference!
How apropos (or maybe ironic?) that last year's theme was "Triumph through Adversity." And what a year of adversity it was! While we are hopefully on the downside of the adversity of 2020, the reason we are gathered together - yes, even virtually we are still together - is because of our dedication to helping those needing a nudge, a tap, or maybe even a gentle push to move forward. This year's conference is focused on all of us - teachers, administrators, and others who are speaking up to spread the word about the triumphs of adult education. It also refers to our students, many who have come through and/or still experience adversity in its many forms: transportation issues, lack of confidence, reading struggles, financial needs. Reach those learners who have given up on themselves and encourage them to Triumph! This year's theme, Triumph through Adversity (pt. 2), will showcase some of the innovative ideas, motivational techniques, and persistent practices that we hope will help us all be better.
