The Kansas Pathway to Career High School Equivalency program was designed for the busy adult that has not completed their high school education nor is currently enrolled in a high school program. This program allows a student to work toward their high school completion as well as obtaining a college certificate or credential. Once an individual completes and passes the program requirements, a Kansas State High School Diploma from the Kansas Board of Regents will be issued.

AO-K @ Work is a customized training program that provides the opportunity for employees in the retail and service sectors to pursue their education at no cost to them. This program was developed with a grant from Walmart. Instruction is available in English as a second language, skills for the workplace, or helping employees earn their high school diploma. Classes are held at the workplace and at a time that is compatible with their work schedule. In this session, we will discuss the AO-K @ Work model, and we will share real world examples of successes and challenges we have seen across the state.
